To run games like Counter-Strike and WoW without lag along with Xbox live?

Im thinking of getting an intel core 2 quad processor for my computer. Also, the graphics card would be a 640 MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800.


One more thing lol. Is 1 TB of hard drive to much?

You have EXACTLY everything I have...

A 2.4 Gig Intel Quadcore Duo 6750?

And I have that graphics card...

And I have 2 500 Gig HD's. Creepy...

Anyway, yeah, you won't get any lag.

if u play cs and wow it will b good
but quad core is for some serios gaming unlike cs and wow
more like prostreet crysis halo and sht
stay with that if u dont play more then cs and wow

The CPU and graphics card is overkill for games like Counter-Strike and WoW. It can probably play Crysis on high settings and still get ~50 fps.

Also, only high-end servers require 1TB of storage.

Good luck with running crysis at 50 fps on current hardware at any decent resolution. Game is a monster.

PS get quad core.
