Cheat Engine

hi there, i got a problem...since the new gunbound update patch, CE doesn't work anymore...and it gets detected by NProtect...anyways, when i try to uninstall it, i still see the Cheat Engine folder on my hard drive...in the folder is the files: cheat engine.exe and some .dll file. When i try to delete it, it says access is denied, file is either write-protected or in use. So i open up task manager and there i see under processes "cheat engine.exe" i select it to end it but nothing happens...any clue what is happening? any help would be greatfully appreciated!

reboot (in safe mode) and delete the files manually.
Also, before uninstalling go to cheat engine 4.4->kernel stuff->unload kernel module

Oh yes, about gunbound detecting CE: That's the most pathetic attempt I've ever seen to detect CE.

Just get a hexeditor and change the dbkdrvr string to something else in both files (dbk32.dll and dbk32.sys) unicode and normal ascii.
(Of course, don't forget to unload the old driver before doing this)
And if you have access to delphi and the windows DDK you could propably rebuild the driver so it generates a random name each startup, or even uses a random file as driver
