Cheat Engine

Alright, I have started to play a new game and I was messing around with Cheat Engine and what I could do with it. I found the address of the bar I want to play with, but it isnt static. So it changes every game/every time I re-open the game and I have to find it all over again. I played around with the address for sometime and came up with a pointer as well, but this pointer is also not static, so again it changes every game/re-opening of the game. This hack would serve a purpose if it wasnt static, and im starting to wonder if there is even a static address for it.

My question is is there anything else I can try that might lead me to a static address that way I dont have to find it every game? I found the address of the bar, I found a pointer and the offset, but is there like a pointer to a pointer or something to that effect that would remain static? Tell me if I'm not clear enough and I will try to rephrase it the best I can.

Yeah your getting a code shift.
Also there could be another pointer you need to find.

I've been told that even when I do find the static address, that the hack will DC me unless i figure out what registers to change. This might be harder than I thought.

If anyone can point me to a tutorial on finding that static pointer that would be nice. I have browsed CEF for a while looking at tutorials but most of them stop right after the first pointer. None of them go into if you dont find a green addy on your first pointer or whatever.

If your trying to do this on a multiplayer, you could get a DC yes.
