I wouldn't know if your IP is static, but the easiest way to find out your current local area network (LAN) IP address is:

1. Press "start" on the bottom-left of your screen.
2. Press "run".
3. Type in "cmd" and press enter.
4. Type in "ipconfig" and press enter.

When connected to a router and trying to find out your outgoing IP address, A.K.A. the one your ISP provides for you, go to www.whatismyip.com and your IP will be displayed.

Type CMD
Type ipconfig
or ipconfig /all

Long way go into your TCP/IP properties

yea its ok i found it. But i failed at what i was trying to complete which was to make the triangle icon for my Utorrent to turn green but somehow it didnt even though i did all the steps right

You have to like fuck around in the router control thingy, to forward the port you use in Utorrent. Make sure it isn't set to random.
