Cheat Engine

Whenever i try to run a cheatengine and attatch it to my game, my computer crashes. Ive tried moon light engine, da engine, and mini engine but they all crash my computer. Could someone please give me a solution to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

If you have Vista, it may be a conflict with that, though I dont have Vista myself so I dont know what problems it causes.

It shouldnt be Vista; I own Vista and CE works perfectly. Turn off your firewall and anti-virus. Maybe one of them shits itself and turns your computer off.

EDIT: or maybe your computer is old and sucky and cant handle the awesomeness that is CE.

They may be trying to attach to a game with Xtrap, or some home made anti coded in the game.
Instant restart...

i dont have vista, and the game im attatching to is kart rider... Maybe because of settings? i dunno. oh, and whenever i run the ce, it says something about systemcall retriever
