Ok I need help downloading flasm. everytime i download it a black screen pops up fast and dissapers. anything i can do?

- download flashm
- make a new map in my documents and name it : flashm16win
- put the files in that map
- then i thougth you need to start it with ms-dos.. but im not sure how

that black screen sounds like your cmd prompt popping up ,or dos window to use the older windows name,

you have to start your cmd prompt up first its in START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/COMMAND PROMPT

in cmd promp enter the address of your flasm.exe using the current directory command,lets say flasm is in my documents then in command prompt enter CD C:\Documents and Settings\whatever your account is called here\My Documents

then you just type in flasm.exe or whatever your progam is called to run it,
note you dont have to put in run in cmd prompt just the name of whatever you want to use when your in its current directory,

well thats what might be the problem cos that sounds like whats popping up someone will soon put me right if thats not the reason, not being a flasm user..
you can probably get away with just using CD my documents because cmd promt tends to start of in the root of your account.
