CE don't require any flash player, you will need it when you want to load a flash.
Example playing a flash game, and you intend to hack the flash game then a flash player is required. Anyway, it mustn't mean that you need version 7, you can use 8 or even 9.

For most games you will need Flash Player 9.

the most browsers include a flash player so u can open flash games usually with opera or firefox

I reccomend to just upgrading it to 9, and no only games run in flash need flash player, though most would recquire version 8+ these days

I recommend being able to switch to any flash version, to be more efficient in flash hacking.
You would be surprised how many games work with flash 7 and you can scan exact values in doubles.
