could anyone tell me if there is someway i could figure what search type to use (floats, doubles) maybe just looking at it i could. maybe what type of game it is. plz help me

With flash 8 and 9, it's a 4 byte scan, and you have to multiply everything times 8 Your health is 100 and you search for it, you search for 800).

With flash 7, you search for double.

check the helpfile, it contains a list of ranges for the values of each type

4 bytes - most used scan, usally you can scan for the same addresses with 8 and 2 bytes, for 1 byte you should be able to find too, but not always... (depends on the value length if I'm not wrong...)

float - X.000 (like 1.000)

double - X.XXX (like 1.337)

text - text ( Rolling Eyes

)

array of bytes - to find/update old address mostly.

so you have to think if the value is a simple easy-to-find value (4 bytes Rolling Eyes

), has a floating point or if its a double number. (digits.digits)
mana would usally be double or at least float to prevent from hacking it, it just doesn't show whats after the dot.
