Is Cheat Engine compatible with Vista, can I do something to make it, if its not just like that.

Umm, or am i doing something wrong. I open tutorial and cheat engine. I search the tutorial.exe one. I search for "100" i find multiple, i hit it once. Change the number, and theres none?

I think it depends on if you use 32-bit or 64-bit Vista. But i think speedhack won't work on any of them. But i'm not really sure

Well i got 32bit Vista.

So any ideas whats wrong when it doesn't find any values when I use tutorials "hit me" thing.

Heres exactly what I do:
I open cheat engine and tutorial, click the pc icon. And search tutorial.exe and open it. I put 100 as the value, with "4byte" and "exact value". I press first search. I get like 20 addresses. Then i press hit me, and it goes to 98. I change the value in Cheat engine to 98, press next search. And there are no results?

What should i do?

ps. Xp sp2 compatibility mode doesnt make any

I found out that I can find most values from the tutorial.exe. But when i use the "Next scan" it never finds anything. Whats the matter?
And it doesnt find anything, if I use 100 value. Then next scan with 100value, even didnt touch the tutorial.exe at all. Shocked

make sure you have WRITE access in the folder where you installed CE (running as administrator helps with this problem)

Im the administrator, only one.

It works fine on the first scan, i got to next 'level' in the tutorial. But always when i use "next scan" it only says "Found 0" even the last search was like 5000 numbers...

make sure you have write access.
add some addresses to the list (manually) and then save your table in the folder where ce is installed. That's the best way to see if it's set to readonly for ce

there is no other reason why a next scan fails. Unless you didn't choose 4 byte but a 8 byte or float/double

There is no other XP compatibility mode than SP2.

What is undetected/detected Cheat engine?

CE has write acces to the folder, atleast i could save them, close CE. Open it, and open the files again.

I used 4byte thingy. Still second scan always gives 0 objects found.

and the target process is the tutorial ?
Because I know that 64-bit processes will not always work, but the tutorial is 32-bit so should work

Speedhack doesn't work..
The buttons are invisible until I hover my cursor over them
Some other stuff not really worth mentioning, works ok imo

ik heb ook vista maar dan 64 bit en vindt het ontiegelijk klote dat speedh niet meer werkt ,jammer maar daar komt ook wel weer een oplossing voor hoop ik.
