What would you guys say if I made binaries of the current sourcecode and put them up for download every week?
I currently have a job(yeeh), which has me working on ce less than usual (and last month I took a break from ce completly, I have a life, or something that you can call it, too) so next official release may take longer than the usual 3-4 months
Off course, this means that these are actually just beta versions and may contaisn worse bugs than you're used to in ce releases . Think about cheat tables not working in a newer version or releases, first scan button invisible, erasing of random files on your hard disk, accidentally erasing c:\*.* instead of c:\ce\temp\*.*, etc....
Oh, and if you're wondering, no they won't be undetected to nprotect. Only private versions I make are undetected, not these

Where's the "Wall Hakusss" option?!
That aside: Weekly binaries would be pretty interesting. Might be able to keep up with the update notes a bit better as well, as I know some features that are added to past, newer versions are sometimes forgotten.

I voted yes in the poll.
What features are currently 'in progress'?

check the todo list in the source section. Black stuff is stuff I have planned. Green stuff is things I have added (and perhaps not yet tested)
And I just add other stuff when the need arises

I'd rather not have to deal with that option.
Could you set up a stable / unstable build? I would like to know that I could have a reasonable expectation of a non-destructive CE in the stable branch and if I feel like rolling the dice I can try an unstable (early) build.
Just my thoughts.

Stable releases are full releases like CE 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 etc...
unstable are ones with 5.3.8, 5.3.9, 5.3.10 etc...
stable will be downloadable on the download main page, unstable probably in a subpage or somewhere else

as long as the stable releases are still available I think its a nice idea to have a weekly build for those who want to try the latest fixes/features (including Wall Hakusss )

I have uploaded my first weekly compile at
http://www.cheatengine.org/weeklycompile/ce5.2.28.rar
green stuff here is new regarding 5.2.0:
http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?p=8264
if you find bugs, please report them to me.
But, I don't give support on these,
so if the device driver isn't working then try to get it fixed yourself, or wait for the next binary
if you don't know where to extract it to, then try any place and see if it works
if you don't know what .rar is, then try google (pm'ing me and asking me what rar is causes a reflex in my arm that automatically clicks on block)

I tried ce5.2.28
I like how you can right-click a search result, and then there is a pointer scan available on the right-click menu.

New weekly compile (sorry for last week, but it was not compilable)
http://scary-kids.com/ce/ce5.2.60.rar
not really much new to talk about, mainly some proof of concept stuff (APC's internally, injecting dll's using APC, working a little on the scan routines)

Ya, some work the first time and some have to be loaded 2 or 3 times to get past the error

I'd say this is really all up to you, on the plus side you would be bringing the community of beta testers to find bugs perhaps a little faster, on the down side the beta testers may become annoying with all the messages about bugs and error messages. Also considering you have a job and life it may be easier to just deal with the regular releases rather than releasing beta projects depending on how stressful and time consuming your life is.

Oh, i'm good at ignoring posts, thats no problem.
And at least this way I may be able to get rid of the bugs before a release
