Hay i'm having some trouble with getting remote connection with my work.

What im asking is if anyone know's how to fix this error.

The error is 680

I looked it up and error 680 means it can't get a dial tone.

Main question is how would i get a dial tone?

What language are you using? What type of remote connection are you trying to establish?

No dailtone (DUN Error error 680) is fixed by fixing the modem drivers or making sure the phone like is correctly working normally.

Though I guess I'm confused why you'd be making a remote connection through dial up?

He probably isn't, he is probably configuring it to use dialup rather than LAN accidenatlly (who has dialup anymore?).

same as nog said. personaly i use msn for remote assistance but it is rather crappy due to the fact i can't play my games of my pc at home when im at school lol

How did his question about not dial tone get turned into - using msn for remote assistance - but it stinks because you can play games at school????
