hey, i have this question bothering me sometime (concidering i was unable to make a proper bypass): is it required to follow the old rev's bypassing steps or the latest rev i find is ok?

The newest UCE tutorials are made from the old ones but they justed added a few things, such as new detected strings.

And there is most likely no up-to-date UCE tutorial because it takes so much time to make one that you will most likely need to make some chances that aren't explained in the Tutorial that your are going to follow
