Cheat Engine

I'm attempting to hack Sniper Elite. I can find an item such as ammunition and make changes to it. When I use "find what writes to this address" nothing comes up.
Has anyone else had a problem like this and how do you get around it?

When you go find out what writes to this address do you shoot while its up? cuz you have 2 so it sees what is writing to the address Very Happy

Yes, I've tried it with several different items in the game and none of them get a response for the "find what writes to this address".

I've been able to hack several games and make my own trainers. lThis is the first time I've had this happen.
