Just wondering what a cheat engine was and where i can get one. im playing dragonfable and i saw this. figured im might as well find out what it was

A cheat engine, more commonly now an undetected cheat engine (UCE), is a memory editor. Memory editors can find data in a game and change it, like finding your health in the game and changing it. This editing of memory is called hacking. To hack server-sdied things you need to packet edit.

ah i see. i got through the tutorial all the way up to pointers then got mad because i couldnt figure it out

Correction, Cheat Engine is the original version of the memory scanner.
UCE are custom Cheat Engines known as Undetectable Cheat Engines.

And when those are detected, then they are just custom Cheat Engines.

He asked what A Cheat Engine was. Not Cheat Engine.
