Can anyone show me or hint me towards making a script to change the value of an address to 0?
mov [address], 0
and would I have to alloc any memory .. ?
using [enable] and [disable]

will make it 0 when the script is executed. So no need to wait for the game to execute it for you
and [enable] / [disable] is only needed if you want to add it to your cheat table (and subsequently add it to a standalone trainer)

Thanks for the reply, and yeah I mentioned that because I do want to add it to my cheat table.
I haven't seen that type of register before?
anyhow how do you return the address back to the value it was before?
So would it be
[enable]
028D515C:
dd 0
027C7F34:
dd 0
[disable]

you really want to remember the original value?
if not, the script you have is valid
but if you want to store it:
| Code: |
[enable]
alloc(oldmem1,4);
registersymbol(oldmem1)
alloc(oldmem2,4);
registersymbol(oldmem2)
oldmem1:
readmem(028D515C,4)
oldmem2:
readmem(027C7F34,4)
028D515C:
dd 0
027C7F34:
dd 0
[disable]
028D515C:
readmem(oldmem1,4)
027C7F34:
readmem(oldmem2,4)
unregistersymbol(oldmem1)
unregistersymbol(oldmem2)
dealloc(oldmem1)
dealloc(oldmem2)
|
a small bug bypass:
when adding this this to the table, manually add oldmem1 and oldmem2 to the userdefined symbol list (ctrl+u in the memory view window)
else it'll complain it doesn't know oldmem1/oldmem2 when assigning to the table
