If you want to be safe, just watch Code Geass. I don't think I've met anyone who hasn't liked it.
Haibane Renmei is a 13 episode short series. In my experience, with 13 episode anime, you either love them or hate them. There isn't really an in between. Watch it later if you want to, after Code Geass, just remember to not watch the English dub. |
I will watch it now since it is short. I will then watch gogodrs recommend if I feel that yours proves not satisfactory (though I will admit the story seems unique). Code Geass is too long, and I think I gave it a shot once but it just did not seem to hit the spot. Will rewatch the first couple of episodes and reassess MAYBE. |
With C.G. it's really something you have to stick with. I'll admit I thought the beginning was boring as fuck. This changed as I continued watching the series.

P.S.: I have yet to find an anime better than Ghost in the Shell.

Try Trigun, it is pretty cool. One of the first Anime's I have watched.
