Anti virus 2009 with a hint of voundo (Downloaded other shit like conflicker and some kind of spyware "guard")

mines a virus that deleted hal.dll, laughed at me, and restarted. But it's real ironic since i made the program.
Didnt get to save it since i reformated my comp.

Stupid Desktop Defender. Fake anti-virus, after I restarted, could not start computer unless it was in safe-mode.

I haven't had any major viruses/malware though one time (or maybe twice) when I was running a routine scan, it picked up a bifrost trojan O_o.

My fathers computer, I still don't know what the hell went wrong, but one day he started up his PC and it went to the windows screen, it would just restart once it got there.

I have a Mac. The worst was a DNS Trojan. Couldn't update my computer or open Safari or Yahoo IM.
