also your pc isnt running the winxp theme so that's why it doesnt use as many processes too =] but still it's crap compared to -17 or a supposide 40
My opera [skinned, running only 1 tab, CEF] is 40k.
Still.
After switching to Opera, I love it. It owns Firefux.

Firefox caches all kinds of shit and uses memory very aggressively, that's why its memory usage is so high. It will free it up if something needs it.
Also it has the greatest plugin ever, DownThemAll is pretty much the greatest thing ever crafted by mortal hands.

Opera goes as fast as dTa! normally.
God. Yeah. It spikes to 40k randomly when loading pages. 10k-18k is what I get. Uploading a pic.

Opera basicly has dTa built in... lol; it's pathetic how slow ff is without it =\ did I also mention that Opera has a spell check available... lol....

Yeah FX* [Its not spelled FireFox, therefore its FX, not FF] has good plugins, but all the plugins I used for FX are already included for Opera.
As I said before.
Opera's download speed is as fast as dTa. If you go 1.7mb using dTa, you will go 1.7mb downloading regularly on opera.
Also, net is too laggy to upload the pics =[

Dude, ppl used firefox cos it WAS secure/ opensource/ not MS.The thing is security degrades with popularity. (I use FF [FX if you wish] but meh) Besides Opera reminds me of netscape, bad music and fat women...
