It does not matter at all whether it was needless. You specifically said that it was the word Hebrew that set him off, but THAT IS UNTRUE. It was so obviously untrue to everyone else and I even believe you can see that but as HackOtaku said you just wanted to poke at him and call him childish a bit more. He did this because you mentioned A RELIGIOUS TEXT AND RESEARCHING IT, not because you mentioned Hebrew.

obviously was the word hebrew, danish or dutch would not have set him off. yet hebrew did. also i mentioned a text that is commonly used with the language. if i said danish and a hans christian andersen anthology he wouldn't have said shit. my point stands.

I did not admit to that, as that is not true. There are two logical options when reading the English infront of us. The only way you could put another one in there is if you attribute you wording it completely differently but you did not.

but we already established you completely failed at reading entirely. oh well.
How about the word Torah you fucking moron?

yup. hebrew text, how about it? and what's with the name calling, aw you mad?

So the two words you have to wonder why he mentioned religion are here:

TORAH

HEBREW

Now which one is explicitly religious? Hebrew right? That's definitely the word that he tripped up on, not Torah.

He·brew
ˈhēbro͞o/
noun
1.
a member of an ancient people living in what is now Israel and Palestine and, according to biblical tradition, descended from the patriarch Jacob, grandson of Abraham. After the Exodus ( circa 1300 BC) they established the kingdoms of Israel and Judah, and their scriptures and traditions form the basis of the Jewish religion.
2. the Semitic language of the Hebrews, in its ancient or modern form.

"which one is explicitly religious?"
that would be hebrew, according to the dictionary

One is a language and one is a RELIGIOUS TEXT and you're going for that one? Really now?

You assert if you had said another language, that he would not have gotten mad, then go on to use this as proof as to why it was "hebrew" that got him going? As far as I can tell, this is an assumption. You are assuming that "hebrew" made him mad, and with that in mind, the concept of "The word hebrew was what made him mad", you came to the conclusion of "if I had used another word, he wouldn't have gotten mad". How is one to reach this conclusion? I've read over this discussion, and Kyle doesn't seem to give two fucks about the Hebrew language at any point, nor the fact that you're studying it. As a matter of fact, he goes straight for the throat in attacking religion, not the studying of hebrew. However, since you assume that the word hebrew is to blame, you assume that any other language wouldn't have caused this reaction, and then you attempt to use it as your foundation of truth. Do you see the error here?
