Skullcandy headphones are awesome because of how cheap they are, for what you get. Also lifetime warranty. But almost every pair I've had has been rather uncomfortable. |

No I'd say all of the headphones I bought were pretty good quality.
I had some Skullcandy FMJ earbuds too, which were... perfect quality... but I hate earbuds so I stopped using them. Then I broke them, sent them in for a discount, and bought myself a nice pair of G.I. headphones. Those lasted about 2 years and now I just don't really listen to music outside of my house or a car.

You ever tried jogging two hours with headphones on? It's impossible.
They fall off, get sweaty, get itchy, get smelly, keep your head too warm,.. They're just a huge pain in the ass when sporting.
Speakers don't have this problem but you obviously can't use those at the fitness center or woods.
Now about the prices, I have these headphones I bought for 12 euros, which are way lighter and more comfortable to wear than any of the expensive ones I've tried (except for the ones that are like 200 dollars or more).
The sound quality is great (wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway), they isolate noise perfectly, and until now they have never fallen off or annoyed me even once (except when exercising of course).
Skullcandies cost like 80 dollars here. Only reason people buy them is because they look stylish.

Ah guess that's a difference. I am always listening to music, constantly. I go to school and it's hell until 2rd block when I can listen freely to my portable rig at least(which Is why I really want an iem upgrade), that's 9:05. I can listen till 12:15, then I go home early on mon, wed, and fri. Tues and Thurs I go back into hell until 2:30. I get in my car, hook up my zune and zo to my radio, listen for the little 5-10 mins till I get home. I get there, put my shit in my room and get my fun rig going, do homework or chores whatever. If I decide to play games, I have my music library on my ps3, and my 360 can read straight from my zune, so normally go with the 360.
I go out with friends and keep my iems clipped on my shirt just in case they go to the restroom or something. It's like my obsession.

I'm by no means rich. I normally kill my tiny ass paycheck with audio stuff, but this is the last thing I need and my savings account will finally get some action. My paycheck is only normally only $300 every 2 weeks. I don't spend money on much else so I'm normally cool with making a purchase like this as long as reviews back it up and I'm getting a nice discount. Got my Vmodas for christmas btw.
