Not much improvement performance-wise though, as mechanical hard drives don't even come close to the SATA 3Gb/s limit in speed. People are better off with the standard SATA2 drives instead of paying for unnecessary gimmicks.

Not much improvement performance-wise though, as mechanical hard drives don't even come close to the IDE 133MB/s limit in speed. People are better off with the standard IDE drive instead of paying for unnecessary gimmicks.
Seriously if both drives SATA 3Gb/s and 6Gb/s cost exactly the same, you're going to get a one or still stick with SATA 3Gb/s since SATA 6Gb/s is a gimmick?

I didn't want to make an new thread just a computer build, but can someone build one for 400 - 450 including shipping and handling?
