No, you only let it scan the correct address.
(e.g if the eyecolor of player1 is at 12345678 in pointermap1, and now the eyecolor of player1 is at 23456789a , then tell it as address 12345678 for pointermap 1, and scan now for 2345678a)
But, since you get 0 results, a rescan is not useful (yet).
In that case try offset 2147483647 level 8 with max node of 3.
if it finds nothing (and is fast enough, try 4, 5, 6, etc...)
if it keeps on finding nothing, then make sure you're attached to the process (so not kernelmode, or physical memory)

my game opens two game.exe of the same name, one occupies 360 mb of memory and 1 takes up 1.56 gb. Do I need to worry about only the one I got my values from?
hmm maybe i should try to scan the other .exe for a looksee
The nothing comes out comparing 3 pointermaps with the first option of each dropdown menus.
I am going to try to pointerscan with no referencing pointermaps, and then reboot and do the same thing again off a .ptr.

| Finding workable pointers may not be possible for this particular target. I feel like I may be repeating myself again.

ya i know, i appreciate it.
this pointermap scan that involves 4 maps have been running for 23 hours now. I guess I'll let it run for a bit.
Gotta go to work.

| i accidentally rebooted my computer and I probably lost 2 days of pointer scanning? There is a file called resume I can see , but how do I resume the scanning?

resume won't work with such a reboot (the .ptr file needs to be there)
but did the scan say it found any results before you rebooted?

Do a scan without those rescan files first (or just as a base to scan with)
and see if that returns any results.
Also, try uploading two of your scandata files (including .addresslist) somewhere (e.g mega or whatever fileuploading service)
that way we can take a look at it ourselves.
(Have you tried that node limiting option ? )

oh I want to run this myself too much fun to look at the machine chew through all those numbers. 200 millions per second? wow!
So I am to create 2 pointermaps and then use them both on the third scan.
>>>>>>>>offset 2147483647 level 8 with max node of 3. <<<<
Ok, got it set up. It's running. I am going to 3 for node limiter for this run.
interesting fact: I have never found pointers in the pointer scan in this target.
Isn't that neat?
Correction: I am finding lots this time with this pointer scan, though i haven't found any with previous attempts when using 2 pointermaps.
Gotta go to work!

20000 offset with lvl 8 max nodes 6
with 2 scandata
EDIT: Done. No rescans ever catch any pointers and no rescans with multiple pointermaps ever catch any pointers either.
I am lost.
gotta go
