We once locked up one of our friends inside the house when we were tripping because he was freaking out, hoping that he wouldn't figure out how to open the front door from the inside but of course he did and he got out and terrorized the neighbors, or random people that he thought were the neighbors we still don't know.

one time at the tail end of a dox trip (20-30 hour long amphetamine psychedelic) with three other friends, up forever decide to walk 2 miles to a convenience store after taking a questionable amount of ambien (sleeping pill that causes wild hallucinations if you just stay awake), making coffee, and smoking weed.

we left and after about a half mile in my neighbourhood, the ambien starts hitting two of my friends really, really hard. one of the effects is that it really disrupts your motor skills, kind of makes you feel really heavy but jelly like. you also get very amnesic and dream-like, there's 3-dimensional pattern/sprouting animated hallucinations more distinct than psychedelic visuals.
my friend is so fucked up that he tips his coffee upside down while looking at me on the side of the road while he like falls asleep.
my neighbours are coming to pick up their kids from school.
my one friend is managing to keep himself together miraculously (thankfully we decided to turn around and not get on the highway and walk the full 2 miles for candy), and i kept myself together as well.
the third friend who is keeping himself together and i both walk a friend home, holding hands, and making sure we get each other held up well.
it takes a long time and every minute they are deteriorating further and hallucinating more and more profoundly and questionably.
several neighbours in the neighbourhood and my neighbours notice the fucked up kids holding hands barely managing to walk down the road.

eventually we get back. oh my god. it was the most stressful thing.
they wouldn't fucking sleep either. they were so fucked up they wouldn't sleep. i had to keep them from being all over the place and laying down to get them to sleep.

we kind of like fall asleep after smoking, with my one friend that managed well, and hours later someone comes to the house that we're at that's for sale and i have to wake up and be tripping on ambien and dox and show the house while my friends were sleeping.

you cant tell what psys do to you until you do a 700mg+ dph trip or some kind of deliriant. you need to experience the bad to figure out how the good works. in that terrible state of mind which you would think of as a "bad trip" you realize that all of these things are really inside yourself at all points, exaggerations of already existing things that should be teaching you to reach similar conclusions while sober, psys are a shortcut and a crutch
