Junior High: 7~9
High School: 10~12

THIS is the american system. Well at least in minnesota.

PreSchool Any Age
Elementary K(1) - 5
Middle School 6-8
Highschool 9-12 or 9-11 if you take all AP to graduate early.
College 12 - X...

In Wisconsin it's:

K-5 elementary
6-8 middle school
9-12 high school
