In my opinion I like Windows 7 the best. If you cant afford it ( most people can though) go with XP since it's stable and because you can use paint to go on the interwebs <.<

| I like Windows 7. I don't have to wait 5 minutes at start up for everything to stop lagging so I can do whatever right after logging in. Also, the themes are very customizable (colours and such). |

windows 7 is also way faster than mac osx. my friends mac lappy took fucking 3 minutes to get to desktop from boot, and it has better specs than my w7 pc that takes 45 seconds. (timed)

Just because your friend had a slow mac doesn't mean everybody's mac is slow. Just for info, my max takes 20 seconds to start up.
Well anyways, I voted for Mac, just because I'm high class and enjoy the apps and such. |

mbp 2.3ghz dual core 2 gigs ddr2 667. thats not slow.

All OS'es are improvments of the previous ones.
People like to bandwagon others saying vista sucks but not giving any reasons why. (No moople h4x isn't a valid reason).
I used vista for like 2 years and never had any problems with it. |

I upgraded from XP to W7 recently and it's a huge improvement, I'd really recommend it. XP doesn't have support for DirectX 10 and Direct X 11 so if you're getting a high end graphics card, that's a good reason to get it. The overall performance is also much better and I installed and updated the entire operating system in about 40 minutes.

| Everything annoying about vista and 7 can be disabled. Vista, with all the annoying shit disabled, was like an improved XP. Now 7, with all the shit disabled, is like an improved Vista. Everybody's always complaining about things they hate about vista and 7, but nobody actually tries to do anything about fixing it. |
