There isn't a separate Half Life 2 game. It is HL2 Episode 1, HL2 Episode 2, Portal, TF2.

How so?

When you install it, you immediatly install a "game" called Half Life 2.
You can't play it, though, since it has no content.

It's really just the engine, but it will reffer to it as a game ;p
That's the Source SDK Base, which isn't a game no matter how you look at it. Besides, you can download that for free through Steam.

*Right clicks Half Life 2 in his My Games tab*
Menu says: Purchase this game, among others.
Go to tools.

Then the 360 version is different, I just double checked. There IS a HL2. /: ?
