now i need help on installing xp to the partition while vista is pre installed.

So i can play games that run better on xp (maplestory wow etc). thats it everything else is better with vista.

You install it just as you would a normal install, except select/make a different partition for it upon setup.

did you change the boot sequence so the dvdrom boots first?

It wouldnt boot it when i told it too. Then it messed up my pc so its running slow as hell. In a min im going to do a system restore. Ive done this before and had this problem. I still havn't dual booted.

i've heard of having problems like those, when trying to dual-boot with vista.
