One major problem with console emulation is sound. I know the wii/GC use hardware sound emulation so now you have to emulate both the game and the audio off the CPU. It rapes. Thats why dolphin emu uses dual core, one for sound, one for cpu. I remember I overclocked my cpu from 2.8 to 3.2 and it made SSBM get an extra 20fps.

Idk what's up with your shit hero, you have a better rig than me iirc and I can run all the emulators at 4x internal res(to get > 1080p res) with 8x AF and 2x AA at least, and they run at full 60fps. This goes for GC, PS2, PSX, etc etc.
