Faster? Lol. This is the thing:
iPhone = developers know exactly what the hardware is capable of, and builds off of that. They can make everything look nice and pretty since it's all the same size/hardware
Android = Soo many fucking androids that everything has to be dynamic, and you have to make it run decent on an older/slower phone, and everything is just slower since it has a lot more calculations to do.

Idc anyway, the point is as posted above. Idc about the Android phones, I own one and it's still running Gingerbread and I hate Verzion, blah blah blah.
iPhone > Android
Steve was right, the iPhone was at least 5 years ahead of phones. Look how it's has taken to finally get some competitiveness in the mobile market whose only plus is carriers and manufactures can profit more and they're cheaper. Android is just a copy of the iPhone and for cheaper. So mainstream. IDK why I have one tbh it makes me mad.

Iphone might be fast, now. You know, 5 generations later. But android can be customized and my android can be different from tyler's. Also I can install apps on my android without having to mod it in any way.

Oh yay let's compare cell phone market to computer one. We are 9 million people in sweden, but we have 12 million cell phones. Out of those 9 million, how many do you think have a computer? Quelle surprise.
Also, Microsoft supported Apple financially a decade ago, Apple wouldn't exist if it wasn't for that. Sure Microsoft did it for the sake of their own profit, but that doesn't remove the truth in the statement.

How can you compare Iphone to Windows phone when iphone has been successfully selling for five years, and windows phone introduced their latest OS like one year ago? Iphone was the phone rolling the entire smartphone market on, and they have a very firm customer base. Windows still needs to market wp7.5 / 8 better than they have, and until then the majority will stay with android or iphone.
Fact still stands, Microsoft is the reason iPhone exists at all.
