You make a valid point.

Otherwise you're correct, though. I'm also helping Ani with some stuff since he's not an arty guy so I'll be helping him make some sprites and stuff because why not, eh?

There hasn't been a team Holland & Ani for almost two years now. There is another team spearheading something really nice, but I opted out due to a gap of knowledge about the programming language I did not want to fill, and I'm not really sure if it's going to be web-based. I recently found out Lua can be, so I'll blame that on my lack of knowledge for one of the reasons I opted out. I instead decided to reinvent the project from two years ago, and will continue development on that throughout the summer.

Wasn't that pretty much CEF RPG 2.0?
Also is Kazekiel planning on making his version of CEF RPG MMO as well (I guess since lua can be tightly integrated with C/C++ its fine, but eh)?

Indeed. But considering at that time we didn't really have a plan on what exactly we were going to create (aside from some character and map creation), and taking into account that a ton of the code was written by me, I'm going to call it my project and come up with my own ideas for it. Besides, I've rewritten almost all of the code now from basic PHP + Prototype, to Zend Framework + jQuery. So far I want to make it a bit like Maplestory meets Pokemon, but since Connor decided to help me a bit on the art department It's probably going to divert a lot from my original 'Steal-sprites-from-Pokemon'-plan, and become something more original.
I understand that my current AJAX setup is just plain stupid, but I plan on replacing it with a websocket.

I have no clue as to web based technology, so I will just say more power to you. Also why did you chose Zend and not something like CodeIgniter?

Because I like UDP and not using wrappers.
