What I love is that D 3 is all server-sided, so there will be no hackers (Equipment hackers, and shit), unlike Torchlight 2 which will be easy as hell to mod your save file for unlimited gold and stuff.
What's wrong with easy modding? Imo, that makes the game 10x better...

Not all mods are for cheating. Even so, it's up to the user and it's a freedom that Diablo 3 won't allow.

All I'm saying Is that it provides the same satisfaction of a private server.

And why are you saying that? If you're trying to imply that Diablo 3 can provide the same freedoms, you're very wrong.
Torchlight can be offline and single player, you are able to modify your game without worrying about other players (or the game company) pestering you about it. Not to mention private servers are always pretty separate from the actual game.

It's obvious you're set on defending Blizzard/Diablo 3. And I'd just like to ask: Why?
They have proven multiple times through and after the release of the game that they don't care for their fan-base and players, only the money that comes from them. They could easily afford better servers, Activision isn't broke...

I never said dia blo provided freedom, just more of a satisfaction for when you accomplish something
All I'm saying is that in private servers, you can mod everything (How hard it is, equipment, and everything), and you can do whatever you want. So it provides a LOT of freedom, but then it takes away that satisfaction when you get a lot of money or levels, because you know you could've just spent 3 minutes and mod everything how you like.

That's exactly why the most fun games are ones with engaging story or balanced and endless competitive play.
Like say, Bioshock, or HL2, even if you cheat at those games it's still just as fun because they had great stories and gameplay and everything, so what if you had unlimited ammo or whatever, the end result was the same.
And then there are games like tf2 or whatever shooters other people play where everybody is equally powered (except when a new item is released and hasn't been nerfed yet) so everything relies on skill.
Torchlight 1 as a singleplayer game honestly wasn't that great because first of all it was singleplayer, so it feels like you're putting all of this time and effort into a character that nobody will ever see, and second of all the story wasn't entirely engaging, people were more concerned with the fun gameplay.
The reason Torchlight 1 was appealing is that it was a great model for a new multiplayers dungeon crawler with it's generic dungeon crawler gameplay and generic art style that was all so very refined.
Now that it's multiplayer, TL2 is a great game.
Now if you're concerned about the modding making it too easy to cheat, and cheating taking away the feeling of gratification from attaining a high lever, you are surely deceived.
Let's say you've spent 5 minutes cheating to get a badass TL2 character.
Now let's say you've spent 500 hours legitly building a badass D3 character.
Are you really saying that D3 is more gratifying?
And if you're going to whine about the ability to gain an unfair advantage over other players since it's multiplayer then it's your fault for wanting to play a competitive dungeon crawler in the first place, what a stupid idea.

This is a stupid argument, and it's mostly opinion based. I honestly can't feel that accomplished in any game if anybody could spend 3 minutes to hack their level and what not. It's just how I work, and that's that. If you think differently, that's fine.
