You're only able to recognise it as it is your pattern, though. | its really obvious to tell what it is because it is a pattern, in games there wouldnt be a pattern, besides when you turn the phone on you can see that it lines up as well, and in what direction and order the pattern goes

That's clearly not true. Let's go for an obvious example, a maze game. Or you might be changing panels, drawing a line, moving an application, doing any of the routine things you can do on a smartphone.
Don't forget that you'll most likely smudge the original pattern a bit so the lines won't be continuous and are therefore more likely to look like normal activites.

| I'm not too sure of what point you were making but I was just mentioning that you can easily make smudges that could match possible login patterns unintentionally.

the frequency that the login pattern is used is far more significant than viable patterns made by games |
Generalisations aside, I'll go by my own experiences, sometimes I unlock the phone, check one thing and then close it again but other times I unlock it, play a few games - smudges everywhere, browse a few pages - vertical and horizontal smudges, reply/send a text. I would say the frequency differs for me and probably most people.

And so you can recognise your login patterns. What point are you trying to make? I mentioned that certain activities made similar patterns, you said they didn't and now you say that you do none of my aforementioned activities, so I ask what grounds are you making your assumptions on?

of course some people will have a bunch of other shit they do on their phone but for me the only pattern smudge is the one for my password pattern, obviously this only applies to me thats why I changed mine

Will it make a pattern? Probably, especially if you do it repeatedly. Will anyone but you notice the pattern in all the other lines and smudges? Probably not. It seems obvious to you since you constantly input the pattern, your mind sees the smudges and fills in the blanks to something it recognizes. Pick up someone elses phone and try to figure out the pattern, thatll tell you the truth of the situation.
