Nah, I used a 4GB ISO and burned it to a 10GB partition from my computers HDD, since it wouldn't allow me to use the partition for my 100GB partition I made from my 2TB Seagate.
Thanks, guys. _________________

You installed the OS on a 10gb drive?
Do it again, do it right. OS partition should be at least >50gb whether or not you install programs / games on it. |

Making the partition fucked up my copy of Vista, so I had to overwrite it with W7. I plan to buy a new computer this may. _________________

I've installed win7 through USB plenty of times, all I did was drag the contents of the ISo to the root of the USB and boot. You have to remove the USB After windows files have been installed, before it reboots. Otherwise it will fail and go back to the beginning. _________________

Windows 7 is a bitch, it wont install from usb like xp could. i once wanted to install and i dint have a burner, and obviously dint have a disk eather, so i looked online to see if it was posible, and i could not find anything that could help me boot from a usb, to install. so just ask a friend or rent an external dvd drive, and install. |
I JUST installed Win7 Ultimate (64bit) via USB. Do kindly check online again after a while, there's tons of methods for creating a bootable USB for it now. |
Yep, i recently found out its posible too, but a while back ( when i tried) it wasnt. |
