Well umm if I or I don't get the i7 and stick with the i5, the 6Gb/s would be campatiable with my build since the 3Gb/s hard drive is about the same price with the 6Gb/s |
SATA3 HDD is even compatible with SATA2 ports, just that the speeds would be limited to 3Gb/s if you plug it in to SATA2. Your Mobo supports 6Gb/s so i don't see why would you get 3Gb/s instead of 6Gb/s if its the same price/space/rpm/cache. Seagate makes good HDDs too, i had 2 seagate hdds for a long time now and they still work. WD and Seagate are my favu~ |
Wow, thanks. I'll consider getting the Seagate HDD than the Samsung.
And instead of the i5 2500k, this one right?
i7 2600k
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115070 | No. It's a waste of money. Get the 2500K.

Haha I'll remember that.
I guess i'll stay away from those pre-built computers.
Do you think my 2nd build that goes for $1k is good? | Yes. Phox approves.
