The mouse I've orderd has finally arrived, so without further delay, let's start with the obvious...the package.
The mouse is packed in a typical package with their well known color scheme most enthusiat will immediately recognize even if the company logo is absent. On it, it tells you the specifications, main features, and even includes a free copy of Red Orchestra OSTFront. This game is old, but it's nice they include a free game with such a expensive mouse, but I wish they would have include a free mouse pad. Oddly at retail, the free gift isn't included so it's either a online purchase special or retail still have the old batch?
On the inside of the package, you get the mouse, a nano receiver, nano receiver extension cable, micro USB to USB cable, and user manual. The software disc isn't included so you must download from their website.
Powered by the Avago ANDS-S9500, the Logitech G700 wireless gaming mouse with its gaming laser sensor has a wide range of resolutions. It starts as low as 200 CPI for precision and all the way up to 5700 CPI for wide movement and benefits users with limited moving space. The mouse has a top matte finish and its sides are finished in sand paper like material so it gives user a sense of solid grip. On the left side you get 4 buttons and color coded indicator for battery, DPI, and profiles, top has 3 next to the left click, and right side has none indicated this mouse is designed for right-hand users. overall it has a total of 13, which can be customized to suit different 5 individuals with its internal memory profile that can be accessed with the aid of their Setpoint software. One unique feature found on this mouse as well as from their other models is the dual mode scroll wheel, this lets users switch between the rachet effect and hyperscoll where the mouse wheel spins freely so users can scroll over long documents or web forums. On the bottom of the mouse, it's equipped with a smooth glide feets, a battery compartment that has a space to store the nano receiver, on/off switch, and has the laser sensor placed at the front center. Now some say sensors that's off center may cause tracking problems but I don't have one so I can't confirm on it. After a whole day of use, this mouse is really comfortable and overall I say I've got myself the right mouse.
Pros:
-Customizable buttons
-Can be used either wired or wireless
-Hyper Scroll is a major plus

Cons:
-Nano receiver isn't unified (won't allow connecting other device to the same receiver)
-No Darkfield tecnology

Score 8/10
