Please accept my apologies kls85. I am in the wrong. Your post was clearly both professional and helpful. Those are certainly the first words that spring to my mind when I read it. Idiotic would of course, be the last word I would associate with you.

Apologies accepted, anyway as I've mentioned before even the integrated graphics from Intel* can do 1080P, therefore your 7900GS are capable of doing that as well.

In order to enable GPU acceleration, you will need a playback software which can support it. In some cases a additional hardware is required.

e.g.
My other HP netbook which only has a Intel 900/950 graphic which does not support GPU acceleration requires a add on card call the Crystal HD accelerator by Broadcom.
This card with its bundled software can let me play HD clips without lag.

Thanks but the 7900GS died already and I've thrown it away and replaced it with the 9800GT. My request still stands for anyone with information on a graphics card capable of the requirements stated in OP under £100. Of course I could get the 7900GS but it seems pointless since it's around £80-90. I could spend 10 more and get a much more recent card.

Since you going to hook it up to a TV, then I suggest that you use HDMI as HDMI will bring both audio and video through a single cable.

Anyway here's one that is withing your price range.

Got 2x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x Display Port

You could probably find a cheap radeon 5750 for under 100 weird L's. The cheapest one in USD is around $110, I don't know what the conversion is. If you can find a geforce 450 for under 100 weird L's, go for it, they also have 2 dvi's, and people seem to think they're the best thing since sliced bread. Or maybe that was the 460, but whatever.

Edit
Looks like c.t.'s best friend kls found something perfect.
