lolno that's not the way it works, it's for commercial purposes, you are obliged to spend that gift card somewhere.

Lolyes, that's the way it works. I buy a 25 dollar gift card, I pay $30. 100 dollar gift card $105. I don't know what you're talking about with this commercial purposes shit.

You basically force the gifted person to buy whatever you want him to spend money to the store it's for. If you buy a 10 euros gift card here at Toys 'R Us, you have to pay 10 euros. For this money you can buy games and such, and might even buy additional things while you're at it. That way you trigger whoever gets the giftcard to spend more at the store the gift card was from. And even if he did not pay additional stuff, the company would still gain money from the gift card.

Phox's saying that he has to pay 5$ for a gift card on top of it's value.
