So far i have - Calcium chloride needs to be dissolved in water. This dissociates the calcium and chlorine ions. The separated ions carry the current.
So, what else should I put>?
EDIT - So i have found that Ca metal would need to be oxidized, but no i need the 'in terms of bonding and structure part' |
For calcium metal, I think the "bonding and structure" part is about metallic bonds and delocalised electrons, while for calcium chloride, free ions? |
