Alcohol is only cheap cuz it's legal.
If they legalize weed, everybody would be growing it, selling it and it would cheap too.
I think that it's fine if weed is legalized, but you shouldn't be able to abuse and get all high and shit. Taking one or two hits, fine. Getting high and running around laughing and dancing while you're naked is not.
Same with alcohol. Having a beer or a glass of wine after work is ok. It's even proven that people who drink wine in moderation live longer than those who don't drink at all. But getting drunk is not ok.
It's all about moderation folks, and our governments know that if they legalized weed, it will not be taken in moderation, and people will all be tripping balls everywhere.

I haven't tried weed out but as I see it there are no consequences other than what alcohol can produce, except for fucking your own body up but if you're stupid enough to do it you deserve it as well.
Well, I bet more people would smoke & drive so yeah. I guess preventing people from obtaining it as much as possible is the best.. for now at least.

No...The main reason people think its safe is because it has been used for thousands of years and there is still no evidence to suggest otherwise, the only link to schizophrenia is that if you have a family history of the illness it can make you show symptoms earlier.

Thats not right at all, however if I'm chillin in my garden with a joint who am I hurting? should I really get a criminal record?
Btw driving high is not at all like driving drunk, not saying its a good idea though

Uhh i just don't like how cigarettes are perfectly legal and have like 4000 chemicals in them and they don't do anything for you. Weed is a plant and has some bad effects dont get me wrong but if people are already doing it and they have all these organizations that they are spending money on to stop it, if they just legalized it and taxed it they would make so much money. But that's just my opinion.

| Weed should be legal, however, they should apply the same attitude towards weed as alcohol. For example, driving while stoned should be illegal, while just 'chillin' would be fine.

IMO, leave it marked as illegal but lower the punishments for it. There will still be those that don't do it like they would if it were legal, and I'd rather not be in society with a bunch of legally high morons driving big steel things around. |

I meant its an easy way for the gangs or drug cartels to get money.

Government can't patent a plant.
I don't see why weed is not legal considering the fact that alcohol and cigarettes are legal and are just as bad if not worse.
