So...Will my corsair dominator fit under the Cooler Master V10?

Im just curious because if it fits then im going for 4GHz~4.2GHz(hopefully)

if you're going to spend that much for a cooler, might as well get the thermalright 120 extreme or the prolimatech megahalems paired with a couple of noctua fans.

pretty sure both perform better than the v10 and takes a shit load of stress off your mobo.

umm... I got my Intel Core i7 running at 4GHz(stable) and my CPU is running at extreme temp so I'm afraid it will worn out so I just want to keep it cool and make sure nothing burns in the future.

Can anyone give the idle and max load temp @ 2.80GHz and 4.00GHz(range) if hyper 212 use under Intel Core i7 930?

no, because

1. case differences
2. room temp differences
3. planet alignment was different on the day the chip was made
3a. different batch, for better or worse. newer isn't always better
3b. you're not guaranteed an overclock, maybe you do it and maybe your chip isn't physically able
4. just buy something holy shit
