Toyota Corolla are reliable cheap cars, but you guys do know about the faulty gas peddle right?

You should also have the sense to shift the car into neutral should it ever happen, then you can try to get stopped safely. This is also one of the reasons why I think everyone should have an understanding of how manual works.
