when debuggning the code you can see all the values of all variables and such. That's what it's for.

don't forget to set breakpoints tho.

Check to make sure the array isn't empty. Exceptions are expensive, an easier and faster way is to just do:

if(arrayname.Length != 0)...

It could also be that you try to use an index higher than the array's.
