I'll have to start reading more about boost APIs. |
No, you would cast to std::string then use string::c_str(). I would hope something this simple would be obvious. |
Yes, after reading the examples and documentation it is obvious.

Flyte has made it clear time and time again that he is not actually interested in helping an OP solve his problem nor to help him learn anything. He likes to throw out obscure links which are clearly not of the same learning level as the poster is on or make a careful selection out of his stack of PDFs, often reusing the article on the Dunning-Kruger effect. As far it goes, Flyte is a one trick pony.

Slugsnack has made it clear time and time again that he is not actually interested in sticking to a topic nor trying to keep his muzzle on. He likes to throw out obscure remarks which are clearly not of the same intelligence or literacy level as the poster is on or make a careful selection out of his stack of insults, often reusing the one on another persons ability. As far it goes, Slugsnack is a one trick pony.

If I gave him something at his level, he would never improve and he would continually make the same mistakes.

The irony in this is that in every debate you enter into with another person, you always fall back to "I go to Imperial!", or you make a futile attempt to mock someone who is clearly more intelligent than you.
