Well, a 5870 is $400, so two would be $800 versus the 5970 (which is a dual GPU to start with) is $600. The two 5870s might offer a slight edge in performance, but it is a $200 difference...so the choice is yours. Either way, you're still going to have a motherfucking monster of a GPU that will run games for the next ten years.

Asus P6T WS Professional
Intel Core i7 920
G.Skill 6GB DDR3 1600
Hitachi SAS 3G 300GB @ 15,000rpm
Sony DVD writer (SATA)
Cooler Master HAF 932
Asus 25" LCD (1920x1200)
Antec TPQ 850

No good graphics, so it's not on the list.
Want to get you a Xeon, but they don't have the good one like the Xeon W3520.
The case selected uses E-ATX specs, so you can fit in them long length cards with hand room to spare.

Note: The W3520 is a Core i7 920 that passed a stricter test and uses the newer D0 stepping.
And from what I've there, these guys are higher binned.

$2,310.41 CAD

liquidcooling is a pain to set up if you havnt before
also, nobody needs anything higher than a ATI RADEON 5770. There is no game out there that it cant run (read the reviews)and its only $180 canadian. dont waste another 400 dollars on something that only performs 10% faster. it doesnt matter that you can play crysis at full just because you spent 400$ more. save your money

btw this is your decision, not mine. so you can just ignoreme if you feel like it

here is a link if you want it (us newegg)

Yeah, but if you get two 5870s or a 5970, you'll be able to play all games for years to come. There is no game that can't be run by any of the 5000 series cards yet, and there probably won't be for a good amount of time. That doesn't mean you can't get the fastest motherfucking card ever.

get the xeon w3520, its like a 960 with lower stock clocks and better silicon, with the D0 stepping. and get an aftermarket air cooler, water is a waste of time.
