we know if we enter we are going to lose. If you guys acually graded each signatures then maybe i would enter. |
All i need is for you guys to give a vote and a reason. I can eliminate any vote that seems like a load of BS just designed to get someone to win. Besides, a majority of the time, the winner is clear. Why? Because everyone votes for them and it is visually obvious. Enter a good entry and you have a chance of winning.
I don't want to sound offensive, but the bar is low. Not that big of a challenge to overcome when you really look at it...

Sofar from what I can see to0k's entry is the only one that contains any decent GFX knowledge, athough it is not the best signature it would be the one to get my vote

Maybe you should stop doing this SOTW since there are only 2 ettries........
The art section is already dying.
Ever since the AE section got deleted it started the death of CEF,(Lol,even WQW has more active users now lol)

how is it biased?
In the majority of all 12 SOTWs on this side, the winner has been obvious. Not because of popularity, but because of skill. Even if they're the best of the best(or the worst), their entries were usually obviously better than the rest.
The voting system itself is fair. It brings in more votes. Since it is required that a reason is given for the vote, you can pretty much eliminate any dumbass replies such as: "omg dats a hawt mspaint, u 1337!". What's left is a somewhat more descriptive and specific voting system.
I'd rather have a large group of people than a select few deciding who wins.
Getting a select few will cause bias given that most of the people in this site have their own group of friends. Favoring or going against, in other words: Bias, will be more likely to occur. |
No, because you have won with a terrible piece of shit that you slapped the name 'signature' onto. Your stuff is awful and you have won time and time again. Sure, if the other pieces didn't surpass yours in skill I wouldn't mind. But they did, every time.

Prove me wrong here.
But anyways, back on topic. As we have seen with the other nine SOTW, the voting system is better than having a small group of people who would most who would share almost the same bias given that there are so many groups of favorites here on CEF. It could also take ages, and it will make this SOTW even more inactive if you take away one of the only two options of interaction from the regular users.
