It's thesame thing. But still I use CS4 just because I want to use the latest version.
The program itself will remain thesame, they just add some more shit every version.

The content aware scaling in CS4 is useful along with the new 3D capabilities. The interface is piss easy to change to what CS3 was, although it's not difficult to adjust yourself to the new one. The GPU acceleration helps on large projects as well.
CS4 illustrator is far superior, decent gradients as last.

Not really, they added a lot to the CS4 versions of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Just things that 'sig-makers' wouldn't necessarily notice.

After InDesign we will learn PS and Illustrator, im looking forward to illustrator because I tried it once and was to hard to understand lol.
