The part about it failing unless it includes all 5 of those basics is what's wrong. |
Or atleast 1 on of them, your 'piece' doesnt include none of those basics.
Focal - ??? what im supposed to look at? Light steals every attention
Coloring - There are no good, eye-catching colors
Depth - Nuhhh
Flow - nuhhh
Lightning - Its horrible

Hey guys, Cryoma here. I'm gonna make a thread and ask for feedback, but if anyone gives me feedback I'm going to say they're wrong anyway because I'm obviously better than everyone else at everything!

Well, it is.
A signature doesn't have to conform to a list of requirements before it's able to be considered aesthetically pleasing. Many signatures don't have depth, coordinated lightning or 'flow' yet are still able to invoke something which looks nice.
This piece isn't good (no offense intended Cryoma), but to say that a signature has to tick a series of check boxes before it can be viewed as good is ludicrous. It's limiting to say the least, probably why almost 80% of signatures these days look the same in terms of technique and realization.

When making tags you need to think about that list of things. I was saying that it wasn't completely wrong, not saying that to have a nice signature you need to do everything that was listed. I said that he wasn't completely wrong.
