well im really short on money (not enough for a new system) so i just wanted a better card :\, i just noticed the card needs 400W power suppy and im not sure mine is 400w.. its a icute -ATX 400W\p4 would i need to upgrade that as well?

Never heard of that brand. iCute sounds about as generic as you can possibly go, so no I wouldn't trust it. Get a new PSU first from a reputable brand, if you're short on cash you shouldn't risk your entire system to a cheap PSU.
