Obviously Oblivion looks better, it was made later on. I found both games fun, but Morrowind was far more challenging. Especially when I tried to kill Vivec I think his name was.

I don't think so, oblivion is too bright and vivid.

On the other side of things Morrowind is dark and creepy, giving it a better feel than a fucking bright vivid colorful fantasy world

They were different themes.

Morrowind was Dagoth Ur as the evil devil man trying to take over the world. Oblivion was nice peaceful land suddenly interrupted by creatures from Oblivion trying to take over.

I did enjoy the scenery when you were near an oblivion gate, and the Dark Brotherhood was fun.

The DB was a very fun part indeed. But on the flip side of things all the other Factions and Guilds were fucking terrible. Oh look it's a mage-guild quest-line that doesn't require you to use magic. Morrowind is a better game. @Kaotic It's vegetation.

Morrowind was a much larger world than Oblivion,offering a lot of travel and more places to visit.But even though Oblivion was smaller and had about the same amount of areas,traveling was much easier and involved less boring walking and more horse riding and fast travel.It's sad that they sized the world down so much though,because Oblivion is,in travel distance from one edge of the continent to the other, about 1/3 the size of Morrowind,which makes horses and other things generally useless,as the difference in your arrival at an area on horseback or foot is maybe only 10 seconds or so.

The combat system of Oblivion makes much more sense,as when a blade connects with someone you actually do damage no matter what,where as in Morrowind you could swing for half a day and never hit someone once.Oblivion is a very buggy game,but Morrowind blows Oblivion's bugginess out of the water.Another thing is how Oblivion's variety of enemies is very,very limited to a few types of vampires(most of which are the exact same in every way aside from looks),a few types of human enemies(same deal as with vampires),and the creature variety isn't much to look at either(mostly just tons of variations of the same type of creature).

all games have flaws. If you constantly pick at a game, you will never enjoy it

That's why I pointed out the pros and cons of both, to make it fair.
@Kaotic

If you want a smaller(in GIGs),larger world, better game: Go with morrowind.

If you want a Bigger(in GIGs), beautiful, bright world, better combat, no challenge, smaller world: Go with Oblivion.
