I dont think there will be a sequel coz they brang out quarantine which had a very similar ending so theyre going to just keep putting out movies that dont have a satisfying ending

Modern movies always have a secret at the ending on whether or not it'll have a sequel.

ex: Iron Man, Hulk, X-Men, Cloverfield, POTC, Spiderman, etc.

Making a sequel usually ruins movies like these. So even though they just made a little secret like that, it doesn't mean a new one would come out.

They are most definitely making a Cloverfield 2. At the end they wouldn't say "help us" or "it's still alive" if that was just the clear end. Cloverfield is also the type of movie that you know will have some sequels.
